OK, so it is time to get to grips with the ever changing world in terms of the digital age.
The internet has provided a platform for the world to converse and collaborate in ways that were never thought to be possible, or were possible, but took un unspecified amount of time to be achieved.
Being someone who works in an IT capacity, one would have felt I would be up to speed with all that is termed to be IT.
However, in the ever changing world that is progressively evolving at speeds that were once thought to be unthinkable, I have to assess which areas to concentrate on more indepthly and which areas to at least know of their existance.
My appetite and enthusiasm to be a part of the digital age was recently arroused at the Digital Media Literacy Summit held at Channel 4 in London this year. It was like having a moment where the light switched on and one realised that there are so many exciting things that can be explored, understood and learned from being a part of the digital age.
OK, with that, I will end my writings for now and learn by acutally playing and exploring some of the technologies and ideas available.
